Every month, we choose one monthly book club pick and read it together — just the two of us and anyone who wants to join along. No assigned chapters, no deadlines, no pressure. Just a really good book and an excuse to talk about it.
We’ll share our full review, a set of discussion questions, and our honest reactions when we’re done. Whether you read every page or just want to follow along, you’re welcome here. Because if there’s one thing we believe, it’s that books are better together.
AUGUST 2026 PICK
Lost in the Summer of ’69
Eliza Knight
Who knew the summer of ’69 was so exciting? This month’s Read With Us pick is Lost in the Summer of ’69 by Eliza Knight. I had the chance to read this one early as an ARC, and as soon as I finished, I told Emily she had to read it. I loved it that much.
Set during one unforgettable summer, this story is full of family, secrets, love, and the moments that change everything. It’s the kind of historical fiction that I couldn’t stop thinking about, and I have a feeling it’s going to give us plenty to talk about. We can’t wait to hear what you think as we read along this month!
